ABOUT US

PTA was set up in 1995 initially with the aim of making it possible for the young south Asian community to understand and keep tubs with their own cultures and traditions.

Clearly, our aims have changed over the years and PTA now realises that we live in a multi-cultural and diverse community and the focus is to accommodate and enjoy the richness this diversity brings to the lives of everyone.

The Punjabi Theatre Academy builds understanding between different ethnic and social groups and allows people from any religious and cultural background, of any age and sex, to participate and co exist equally on our projects and workshops.
